Tow Hitch Carrier

I just purchased a lockable stowaway plastic carrier for my Rialta. The carrier connects to the rv on the tow hitch. I was wondering if any of you have done the same thing, and if you have encountered any problems as a result. I know we have to be careful with the gross weight on each of the axles, so I load only the bare essentials. Gus

The stowaway 2 looks like a nice hitch carrier box but it is fairly expensive! Which one did you get? Any pics you can post here of it mounted on your Rialta?

I have a flat metal hitch carrier I can use on mine. 200 lb motorcycle on there no problem.

The stowaway2 carrier can be purchased online at http://www.stowaway2.com for only $299. You can find pictures of it on the website. I really like mine. I used to store my folding chairs, fishing equipment, lanterns, and other stuff that does not fit in my RV. Gus

New to group.

We have the Stowaway2 Max installed. Comes with a hitch tightener so it's pretty solid on the hitch. Rated at 200 lbs. The unit we have is a swing away, but I was able to get the rear trunk open ( rubs the carrier a bit ) without swinging it open. I was luck to get it nearly new off of Kijiji, but they are selling for almost $800 USD for the 16 cubic foot model plus shipping off of the Stowaway2 website.
