I plan to install a solar panel on my Rialta`s roof .....

On my Westfalia ,I have a 145w measuring 27" x 58" ,,,,

it should fit on the Rialta`s rear roof portion, right behind the A/C unit ....

Doing lot of boondocking, it`s so useful on the Westfalia ...gives 8 amps at full sunshine & around 3.5 amps on cloudy days

anyone has one installed ...any advices ?

thanks ,

Dan

Solar for Rialta

I am planning on having a solar roof installed in my 1999 Rialta. Any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate. Thank you.

I don't have any Rialta specific advice for you.

If you like the idea of mounting panels so that you can tilt them to gain efficiency or simply to facilitate cleaning underneath then here's a link that might interest you: http://www.classbforum.com/forums/f8/solar-panel-683-2.html#post2419

I took an easier route last month installing a 100 watt panel on my travel trailer. I used the Z type brackets, 10ga wire with pre-installed MC4 connectors and a Renogy panel that came with a basic PWM controller. It was around $240 for everything - costs have come way down  All new and purchased on Amazon and delivered to my door.
