Long distance away but I might be able to make it happen. It's a 2010 model with enclosed bathroom. Even has very acceptable miles on it. some after market changes were good.

Yet it has one thing that's a deal killer. In 2010 RT cheeped out and made the 4.8L engine the standard engine. If that vehicle has the 6.0L engine I'd do every thing possible to make it happen.

The 4.8L, while it may be a great engine, it isn't large enough for a loaded 190.

Interesting and makes for tough choices. I tend to watch the trends in Roadtreks to some degree and prices have fallen a lot since the insane pandemic times, but you still some at crazy high pricing, mainly at dealers.

The 4.8 engine appears to be a sticking point in selling them in a 190, not so much in a 170, and they appear to have a considerably lower price than the 6.0 sometimes. It is telling that the Chevies with the 6.0 in them always seem to state that in their listings, but the ones with 4.8 just say it has a "V8".

A concern might be if the chassis year is really 2010 as there appear to be quite a number of them out there on 2009 chassis with the 4.8 in them. Aside from engine size, I am pretty sure that the 2009 chassis would be a 4 speed transmission and the 2010 chassis would be a 6 speed. I consider the 6 speed to be a very big upgrade so that might disqualify a 4 speed van, especially one with a 4.8.

It's bad enough that a 4.8L engine is in a 2010 190 & 6sp tranny. But a 4.8L engine coupled with a 4sp tranny. If I'm going to be stuck with a 4sp I'll drop back a few years and get a 6.0L engine I'd rather have a 6.0L with a 4sp than a 4.8L with a 6sp.

Yep, tough choice between and 4.8 with 6 speed and 6.0 with 4 speed, but I think I would also choose the 6.0.

Agreed, the 4.8 is not enough in a heavy motor home.
I test drove a RT 170 with the 4.8 6 speed and said no thanks.
Bought a 210 with a 6.0 and 4 speed, much better.

I had lost track of that particular 190P, thought it had sold. However, I found it again, so I emailed asking about the tranny.

My thinking was I might reconsider if it did have the 6sp tranny, since otherwise it was near perfect. Unfortunately, it still had the 4sp. It was 4-5k less than most 190P's.
