The obvious thing seems to be a gear splitter (Gear Vendors) but at close to $4000, it's not at the top of the list. A computer chip is 1/10 the cost but I have no basis on which to choose. Perhaps someone has had long term success they would like to share. Any other solutions?
 
what year is the Rialta ...


there is some 12 Valves & 24 valves



I ve been modifying vehicles and engines for more then 35 years ....


And the Rialta at 20 mpg for close to 7000 pounds is quite effective as is ....


I heard the problem is the design of the intake , the car intake is better but wont fit under the eurovan hood .
 
we have imperial gallons here ......:)



when I worked on my exhaust system , i removed the 21 feet long tubes,,,,( so restrictive )


replaced with 7 feet long side exit with less restritive muffler ....gained response but not any fuel economy .

the only time I saw one of these gadget giving result was on a carburated engine


with our multipoint injection system it doesnt give any results ....



maybe a good quality programmer or chip could give some results ....but none at $39.00 on Ebay ....
