Hydro cord

When removing snow the hydro cord that is attached to van was cut. Can anyone tell me where it is connected in leisure Van 1997 and a round about price to buy and have one installed

Are you talking about your block heater cord?

They are about $8 and connect to your block heater which is on the block of the engine. Follow the rest of the cord that is under the hood and you will see where it plugs in.

I would assume the cord would be the shore power cord, which may be hardwired into the van like lots of the Roadtreks are.

An alternative would be to mount up a receptacle in the compartment it comes out of and a plug in on the severed piece.

If it doesn't come through a compartment perhaps an outdoor waterproof while in use receptacle would be called for.

If you wind up a bit too short for your needs you can always pick up a reasonably priced extension cord at Amazon and use it as a Hydro cord in conjuction with one of the above installed outlets.
