Hi all! I'm Peggy and I have a 2014 RoadTrek Ranger. This is on a Chevy chassis. I travel as much and whenever I can or want. Keeping my home base in Texas. Usually a solo traveler with my little dog, but looking to make lots of RV friends.
My search on this site is information about getting more ground clearance for my RV. All suggestions welcome. :)

Welcome to the forum Peggy!

This thread has a lot of good information on Chevy Express suspension and companies offering lift kits.

There's also a few people on this forum that have lifted their Roadtreks.

Hondo and Photog are the main ones that come to mind. Mine too but it's a different year than yours.

How much ground clearance are you looking for? How do you intend to use your Roadtrek (pavement, gravel roads or light off-road)?

I did the same as someone else in that I bottomed out and damaged the pipe at the holding tanks creating a leak. It's repaired but I don't want some more of that! Just want up enough to not bottom out again.

The main variable, I guess, is your budget.

Options are:

Front
1- Adding a spacer ($)
2- Changing the front coils ($$)
3- Putting a lift spindle ($$$)
4 - A combination of the above ($$$$)

Rear
1- Adding a block ($)
2- Adding a add-a-leaf ($)
3- Replacing the spring pack ($$$)

Of course, generally speaking, the ride quality is supposed to be better with the higher cost items but you really might not need it either.

I would suggest contacting Boulder Offroad Vans or Weldtec Designs and having the work done at their faciltiy.

Also, if you're going for the simple options, just about any competent local suspension shop can do it but be prepared to become knowledgeable beforehand just to make sure they're doing what's right for you.
