The Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site is a 1/4 reconstruction of the 18th century French fortress at Louisbourg. It is yet another place that you can gain admission to in Nova Scotia using your Parks Canada Discovery Pass.

There is plenty of RV parking and you are shuttled to the fortress on a short bus ride that departs every 10 or 15 minutes from the visitor center. We enjoyed visiting it.
