Finally took the plunge.

Well, after about 5 years of on and off again searching, last week we finally bought ourselves a Class B. We wanted a new Travato G but could not justify that kind of outlay for our first coach. So I ended up stumbling across an ad for a B that was located less than an hour from me. I went to see it and gave the seller a deposit on the spot. It is a 1999 Coachmen Saratoga DRT, only had 62,500 miles and is in very good condition. Not perfect by any means but not bad for a nearly 20 year old B. Everything works so far and hopefully will hold up long term. Here are a few pics from the seller's ad since I don't have any of my own. The pics aren't that great and the van looks better in person. Anyway, I am heading out this weekend for a shakedown cruise to see how she does.

Congratulations! That van looks to be in great shape! I don't know about Coachmen's support for older vehicles, but they have been very responsive to questions I've had about my Crossfit so if your shakedown cruse discovers any issues, I wouldn't hesitate to see if they can help you.

Believe it or not, this van has all of the original owner's manuals for all of the coach systems. Plus, the previous owner has bought the Chrysler factory shop manuals for the van. All of the system diagrams are in the folder too. Looks like all bases are covered.
