Electric clock runs fast

2001 Pleasure Way - After installing new microwave oven noticed clock is running fast on battery or shore power.
Had the same problem in A class but only on the road. We had solar & an inverter on that rig.

If you have a power monitor (everyone should IMO) you should be able to see the frequency of the AC power, which usually is what the clock looks at for reference. If that is OK, then the microwave is generating it's own timing reference and is not working correctly.
