Since I've been on the forum several folks have related how nice a B in the driveway or at least very handy. I've spent time in my driveway living in the B for hours and days. This time the cause made national news with at least one network. A furnace at 32 degrees sure is nice along with a laptop, tv, stove............

I do not know what video has been used, but here is one:

In case anyone was wondering, I googled and it was in Kenner Louisiana... took out the power to 10K people. Probably caused by the ice storm taking out a transformer... and traveling along the power lines. That's going to take some time to repair.

Lots of people in many states are wishing that they had an RV in their driveway right now.

The video Bud posted above is from Dec 2018.

Here is video from yesterday, Feb 15, 2021, the latest winter storm.

Thank you very much Boxster, and there is a lesson there for me. Heading back to find out how that happened. I'm fine, but there is some sad stuff with that cold.

Hello everyone, I live in So Fla and have my Travato neatly parked on the side front of my driveway. I call it my hurricane protection and hobby van. I love to tinker with improvements and I have found that in sever weather conditions this vehicle is outstanding. I use a standard 115 plug in and hook up a hose and ready to go in my hidden man cave. LOL Every time I think about selling I realize I won't be able to replace it or get a newer one, for a long time based on todays market. We have used this Winnie up and down and all around for the past year of COVID, and I never new it would be a great way to get out and about safely. I would recommend this type of vehicle for anyone in Natures path as a great escape or place to stick the grand kid. LOL Best wishes for those caught in the terrible storms and freezing. :hide: PS all the parks in Florida are full.LOL

The last few days, I’ve spent my afternoons in the van in the driveway. Just 'cause.
