Just purchased a 2008 pleasure way excel ts and all the decals are in bad shape because of the heat in the southwest. Is there a place I might get them? Or can they be ordered from the factory?

Have you considered just removing them without replacing them? That’s the first thing I did with mine. I like the clean look, and unless you have indoor storage, the new ones will fade just as fast.

That said, on an older unit they might leave behind a ghost image of unfaded paint. Take some good photos of the originals before you take them off. A print shop that does vinyl decals could probably reproduce them, or something pretty close. Pleasure Way is also still in business, so give them a call. Odds are they don’t keep the older styles in stock, but you never know.

Thanks for the reply, checked with pleasure way and you are right they dont stock older
decals I will remove the decals and try to find a shop that can duplicate them.
I have thought of having a specialty paint shop paint them if it is not to expensive.

Perhaps PleaseureWay would share the computer file for the decals with you. If so, a decal shop could duplicate them easily.

I took my decals off my 06 agile when I got it. The Florida sun messed them up pretty bad. Left some minor lines in some of the worst spots. Overall it's not noticeable and looks much cleaner. Found decals online but they were like $800. Waste of money to me.

Recently took mine off my 1995 Explorer Class B. Left ghost image's but looks much better without. Love new look! If removing suggest buying several brand name whizzy wheels on line for removal. Made job much easier and not damage paint like other eraser wheels I tried.

I see Amazon has the whizz wheels for 20.00 ea , when you say several does that mean they don't last to long?

I used a heat gun and a wheel. Carefully soften up the vinyl and most of it will peel off. Get the left over bits with the wheel.

I saw an entry where somone had fiber glass top of Class B coated with Rino Liner stuff. Just wondering total cost???

Several of my decals faded. I took a paper image and cut out wrapping vinyl with adhesive to cover the old decal. Will see how it works over the coming years.

We had the same problem with our first RV (99 Winnebago Rialta) which had spent most of its life in the hot Florida sun. We got a a local sign shop to print a new set based on pictures of the vehicle and color photos from the original sales brochure. We did remove the old ones ourselves using mostly 3M decal erasers and that saved $$$$ because it was a lot of labor which we didn't have to pay. That said, printing and installing new decals was cheaper than buying a new set from Winnebago. Don't see a way to post a photo here but I have some if anyone's interested.
