Box awning just bit the dust

We were cranking the awning in and heard a pop - then saw pieces flying from the crank mechanism. I could not roll it manually and the crank was shot. So, we took it off. Has anyone had to replace a box awning? I am wondering what the price range will be and what I need to know for this adventure!

if it is a fiamma, the best prices I have found are from go westy- about 1/2 what fiamma america wanted
