I’m looking for the soft creamy colored material that covers the sides & top of a slide out. Not the awning that comes out with it.
Has anyone replaced it.

Well after much googling I finally gave up & asked my main marine fabric supplier :whistling: ( I do Marine upholstery & boaty things)
They suggested a product they call Elascover.

Glad that you found an option. There weren't that many rigs that ever had these slides, and the company that made them was sold 6 or 7 years ago, and then went belly up under the new owner 5 years ago. That normally means that you need to find someone to duplicate it because it was a small company to start with and difficult to find anyone with a memory of their suppliers up in Winnipeg.

Yeah, even more so when your Great West Van is in Europe
Nothing like a challenge :???:
LOL... in reality when the company has been gone for a few years, the challenge kind of equals out. Is this the GWV that was living in the UK for some years? It was also a Classic Supreme like my first rig.

Yeah I guess your right there
Yes looks like the van was ordered for the UK as was fitted with 220v & 110v from the factory. Classic Supreme BDM.
At some point it was imported into Spain them stored for a few years.
Slide outs of any size are pretty rare in these parts. Then throw a Dodge in the mix & it's pretty unique.
Well why not

As long as you can deal with it. lol... nothing like a challenge. GWV was a small company... and they could only be building 3 or 4 at at time. I only had a couple issues the first year, and when I would call the factory for help, invariably it would be the owner that would answer and walk me through the fix. ah... the good old days. He was a great guy

And mostly they were Classics... not the Classic Supreme. So there are few on the road anymore here in the US either. The dodge parts may be a bit easier for us to run down - plenty in the junk yards to find parts. (mine was on a Ford) It was my first rig and truly the most livable, usable interior of its size for all my rigs. Tons of storage and still a roomy interior.

Good Luck and enjoy it!

Thank you, we will.
I think we’ve got most things covered, DH is an engineer & I sew anything I can get under the needle.
