We recently purchased a Tranquility 24A with the "off road" tire and wheel package. I am having the hardest time finding out what manufacturer are the wheels. I would like to get a spare but I am not sure what is currently on the vehicle. Its basically an 3500 XD (dually) but these aren't...
My wife and I just purchased a 2017 B Touring Cruiser, model 5291B (class C) with a 450 super duty Ford engine. I'm totally new to RVing, so I've been watching YouTube vids and reading manuals.
However, compared to the automobile world and what I think is common sense, I'm confused about...
Anyone have recommendations on the best bolt on rear tow hitch receiver for my 2013 e350? I’ve got some bigger Nittos on there and am worried the bolt on won’t fit around the full size spare.
Not really interested in getting rear tire mount swing arm just yet. But for those who have one...
I'm trying to get some more info on clearance. Anyone running a Rigd Ultraswing Mega-Fit with a FWC Hawk on a Norweld Tray? I've found one picture on facebook, but can't find any additional info.
Hello everyone, i have a 78 tandem axle that has no spare wheel / tire. i work at a junkyard and have tons and tons of wheels laying around. Anyone know what vehicle would work for a donor wheel? i need to be 14inch, im thinking from my measurements the bolt pattern is 5x4.5 which would be...
I am going to stop tempting fate and buy a spare for my 2004 19H Jay Feather Hybrid. Does anyone know the rim size, bolt pattern, offset etc? There has to be a chart online somewhere right?
2017 Windsport, I have purchased a spare and am looking for the best carrier. Does anyone know if the BAL Hide A Spare will work under the carriage on the 31S?
If not, does anyone have experience carrying a bike rack behind the Roadmaster carrier in the receiver hitch? It looks like I would...
Hello,
I am deciding on a spare tire bag, and I am looking for advice and experiences.
I don't really need or want to use it for trash, but more for storing shoes (rain boots, ski boots) and firewood. Because of the shoes, I think that the canvas trasharoo bag is not on the top of my list...
So I just got a new set of Goodyear Endurance for my 2015 White Hawk (replaced Rainier's). They were in good shape with appx. 3-4k miles on them, no dry rot. Anyhow, I still have the never-used Rainier spare on the back of my TT (with a cover over it). How long does a spare tire last...
Hey guys,
after reading for a while, it's time to introduce myself and ask the first question! :wink1:
My name is Doran and I have recently started a skoolie conversion in Germany (not too many of those around I think)!
I bought a 12 windows long-nosed 1987 International Harvester with a 9L...
Just installed the Aluminess spare tire carrier/swing arm and it's setting off the stock backup camera alarm in my 2014 E350. I'm good with the slightly limited backup view, but any way to permanently shut the alarm off? Gettin tired of pushing that little dash button to shut it up.
.
What is the proper way to lower the spare tire that is mounted
underneath the garage on a 2015 Voltage 3305?
Is there a tool provided with the 5th wheel for this?
This is my first 5th wheel still learning the ropes.
Thanks, Mike
I was preparing to lower to lower the spare tire on my '15 Citation Sprinter SR when I noted that a wiring bundle was wrapped around the carrier frame. Had I lowered the spare the wires would have been damaged.
The bundle is on the driver side. I had to disconnect it (the disconnect is close...
ok so i'm moving my jayco 22FB jay flight 2008 and the tires have been stolen. we had to take two of them off on one side to balance it out due to such a steep incline just about like scotland here with forests and lots of rocks ($800 to run electric out and much more for water) anyways I need...
The spare tire on my X17Z is located under the tongue. This is a terrible place as it easily scrapes the ground when going over the smallest dip. I need recommendations on the best place/method to relocate the spare. Back bumper would be my choice, but the bumper on my X17Z is a bumper in name...
We just bought a X17Z and love it. EXCEPT for the spare tire mounting location. The tire carrier is very low to the ground and scrapes our driveway when pulling in; and the transition from the street to our driveway is NOT excessive in the least. I want to relocate the tire and the rear bumper...
