We just brought home our 2007 3023. Looking for something different than the old dingy curtains. Well blinds work? Long time listener first time caller.

Blinds could work, but you'd have to remove the mount brackets to close the shells. Some folks used the removable 3M hooks, with simple rods. The curtains with rods can be installed and removed quickly/easily, and also the hooks; leaving the mounts attached. I have a few hooks for coats, and just leave the mount brackets in place, and the slides close easy.

Coincidental, as I just started to clean the old dingy curtains. Also considering alternatives....
Search on youtube for trailmanor curtains and you will find a few videos with options.

I carefully removed the biggest curtain near the sink and washed it in warm water gently with
dish soap. That was in a dog pool, and done carefully to save the plastic clips and aged fabric.
Surprisingly, the fabric held up good, and really looked good after being dried on a line.
Although, this was somewhat tedious work, especially with the S2 screws and their various angles.

So, one window down, and 9 more to do. For those, I am going to spray on much Goof Off
cleaner, and then use a heavy duty shop vac. And, still considering alternatives...:)

Great topic, love the show... I just came to say that and read the comments. I wasn't thinking about changing my curtains until something stabbed my finger today when closing mine. I didn't even look to see what did it. I just know I want to get rid of needing to work both top and bottom to open or close. I was thinking of taking the easy way out and use velcro.
