How do I find more of these exterior door clips?

On mine that little door is actually installed with the hinge at the bottom so it doesn't need anything to hold the door open. For that little door I think I would unscrew it from the body and flip it around. Remove the plastic Hardware and just put the screws back to fill the holes.

Roadtrek driver side box. Pick a Part 1998 to 2005

I found a 2001 roadtrek that I'm thinking about buying. It has a lot of damage to the box that goes from the drivers door to the rear wheel, more than I can just patch up. The price is right but not if I can't get it put back together right. Does anyone know of a place that parts out Roadtrek's?

    Plug in station

It would probably make more since to install and power the house and then power your RV off the house. this way the house gets the benefit when you are gone and it will provide a load and usage of any excess power when you are not connected otherwise you will likely have to come up with a way to...

    Xplorer Fans?

I have a 98, I pulled the carpet and installed new... I wanted to install vinyl plank but ran out of time so I put in carpet. It will likely be changed again as carpet is just too hard to keep up with all the time. I do not suggest trying to steam clean it as I did, I did get it clean but it...

Absolute newbie seeking purchasing guidance and more

I started building a van, would still like to finish it at some point but I ended up buying a camper van. Buying is much easier... I was in the middle of the build when my dad was diagnosed with what you are struggling with now. I had already been taking care of him but everything changed once...

Inexpensive way to stay warm while asleep this Winter ...

At night I was in temps as low as the teens in Idaho and the upper 20's in Utah. I posted in another thread that my dog prefers sleeping in her crate. I have polyisocyanurate under her crate and then a warming pad then the crate. I believe it pulls like 20 or 22 watts and I plug it into an...

Inexpensive way to stay warm while asleep this Winter ...

I've been more or less full time since December 22nd. I spent a good part of last winter in Utah and Idaho. At night I set the heater around 40* and I just slept with 2 blankets. I had sleeping bags but it was just easier to use the blankets and I don't plan on traveling with bags again. My...

Inexpensive way to stay warm while asleep this Winter ...

My dog prefers to stay in a kennel so I built one into the van. I have polyisocyanurate insulation under the crate and I have a warming pad under the crate and above the insulation. I think it pulls like 22watts. I run it off a small inverter. When I get done with my upgrades it will just plug...

Ditching the onboard genny, going battery banks? Back country boondocking rig

I frequently find myself where I can buy ethanol free at the pumps. I have enough room under the van to add an additional tank. I have through several times about doing so and using it just for ethanol free fuel. It could be a reserve for the coach but primary fuel source for the gen.

    Security cameras and alarms 24/7

I have a hotspot in the van. I use a combination of WYZE cams and I have several cheap prepaid android phones I set up with Alfred. Alfred is an app that turns the phones into a "nanny cams". They both upload to a cloud and there is a small lag or delay from motion detection to when I see it on...

Ditching the onboard genny, going battery banks? Back country boondocking rig

I saw a YouTube video where a guy replaced the carburetor on a small motor. He showed how he had to "tune up" the carb to get it to work right. I've heard where some people get a good replacement carb first time out and where they have had to get one or two to get their gen working right. My...

Ditching the onboard genny, going battery banks? Back country boondocking rig

I thought about going all solar and batteries but I've changed my mind. When I bought my rig a year ago it had around 700 hours on the generator, it now has 1490. Mine has the 4000 watt generator. I got caught out of state when Covid started and ran it for much of the time during the day. I do...

    Shore power problems

did you actually cycle the breaker? push it all the off then back on? 30+ years as an electrician and HVAC-R contractor and I can't tell you have many times I've gone out for a tripped breaker that they say wasn't. Need more info. Is the plug on the house working? Does your AC have a GFI on...
