I went on a caravan to Canada, NF; NS; and PEI: and was required to have a CB for leaving and arriving at each campground. This way they could keep up with all the 22 campers. Some days traveled 50+ miles and others 200+ to campgrounds.
I have always had a CB since 1967 as my father was in the early CB clubs in the 50's. I use it mostly when traffic stops on the hwy to see which lane is moving or to use a bypass to get around a wreak.
