George, I hope all is well. I am currently building a Transit and unhappy with the 1/4 baltic birch plywood and would like to switch to HDPE. You seem to be the only person on the interweb that I can find that has used it. Are you happy with it's performance and does it have any off gassing or strong odors when it gets hot in the summer? Thanks for any information. Brad

Stove is Marine Style alcohol/electric Origo brand. Purchased by Dometic and killed so no longer available, prices of some are stratospheric. We like it a lot, electric is about 1200W and alcohol stove is sufficient for simple cooking. Plastic use on my cabinets is SeaBoard HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) from Vycom.

I have enjoyed reading your comments on the forum. A few questions for you on your van if I may. Can you tell me a little more about your stove and the pros and cons. Does alcohol cook as well as propane or induction? How well does the electric element work and what voltage and wattage is it? What is the composite material you have used on your cabinets?
