I just found out about this floorplan and I'm waiting for a dealer in the NJ area to get one so we can see it in person. As big fans of the Travato 59K floorplan, this is very appealing and looks to be more comfortable as a lounge than the Travato.

Also looking forward to seeing pics of the inside of the coach with the bed put together to get an idea of how much room the bed takes up. The Thor rep in the video made a great point about being able to have one side open and one closed.

Thanks, all for your well considered comments.

mtbkr1030 - thanks for the pix. You may be the only person on the forum who was one of these in the wild. I'd love to hear your new owner impressions pro and con.

Only a couple of small issues so far:

-roll out screen on one side needs replaced.
-One section of The pull out bed has given me fits. Dealer is going to look at it in a few weeks( some screws fell out, not sure what the problem is with it). Doesn’t pull out smoothly.
-passenger side closet door in the rear is wedged in and I can’t get it to release

Finally had an opportunity to see a Sequence 20K floorplan the other day. This floorplan has become a favorite. You still get the open feeling of the 20L but you get a much nicer "lounge" with the couch. The bed is surprisingly large and we don't have any concerns that the bed will accommodate us comfortably from a size point-of-view. We also like that it would make for a nicer driving experience if we have people riding in the back.

A little background, we were completely sold on the Winnebago Travato 59K. Every time we get in the WBG 59K it feels right. And we've been in it on several occasions. The 20K floorplan has just upset that plan.

What we like, and are concerned about with the Sequence 20K:

1) Bed comfort. With the puzzle piece mattress, we could be making a big mistake. The fix might be better cushions but we can't make that call without jumping in and buying a Sequence.

2) The overall quality is questionable. The remedy here is to accept that, at this price, we're going to have to accept that this coach is going to need upgrades over time and as things fail. Which we expect is going to be often. Another fix is the same floorplan from a company such as Sportsmobile.

3) We really liked the single control panel. There's obviously an up/downside here. Great that everything is in one location, not gonna be so great if/when the control panel fails.

4) Driver/Passenger seat comfort is superior to the WBG. Hands down.

5) Love the high refrigerator.

6) Lots of cabinet/drawer space. This floorplan seems to provide a lot more storage options than the 20L and WBG 59K.

We too really like the 20K floorplan. It's very open with more storage and a big refrigerator off the floor. We really didn't go for the Travato 59K and Sequecnce 20L twin beds - we're not Ward and June Cleaver after all.

We had a chance to lie on the bed for about 15 minutes. Hard to tell the comfort level. The cushions seemed a little soft. You can always put a mattress topper on, but then you need a place to store it. If you don't like the foam you can always get softer or firmer foam to your liking and cut it to fit the covers.

The BM Pro system and especially its manufacturer, Firefly, get kudos for support. So I think its a pretty safe bet.

Happy hunting!

There are several manufacturers that make custom foam mattresses. We’d probably reach out to one that does factory visits so you can pick the comfort level before they cut to size.

We have time and want to see the new Coachmen Nova. It’s a 59K style floor plan but we want to see everything. At this point, it would likely come down to a WBG 59K or a Sequence 20K floorplan built by Sportsmobile. With the Sportsmobile we’d have more available options and the price would be very similar.

I’d have a hard time justifying the Thor because of the quality. For us it would have to be a phenomenal opportunity to seriously put it against something like a WBG or Sportsmobile.
