Default KaptainK’s ‘98 C200V - interior paint, new walls

Here’s a few pics of new wall panels and paint. The original walls, and bedroom floor had seen much water over the years. And I knew the insulation wasn’t any good, so I decided to replace it all. I was happy to see great looking fiberglass underneath. I also love the fresh paint!

Thanks for posting the photos. Very nice.

Did you add the Dupont panels? ........ Thinking about fire/smoke hazard/risk etc. did you look into that?

Yes I went to styrofoam. I didn’t want fiberglass in there since it will likely get wet again at some point, and ruined. I didn’t give flammability of Styrofoam much thought. Water won’t ruin it, and it’s been used in RV’s and camper vans and buildings for a long time. It’s covered on both sides. The walls on top of the Styrofoam are handy panels. I intend to cover them with fabric. All of it pops right out if need be. I could make any changes if need be. I’ve just never seen anybody express too much concern about it.

Is that like an MDF panel? I thought it was only cloth covered Styrofoam. The Handy Panels on top makes a difference.

You're making a lot of progress.
