Sorry if this is an old topic, but I couldn’t find it when searching. Other that size, why not use a 1 piece shower enclosure from box diy stores?

Thanks, Phil

Hold up?

Yes, but that space between the straight and curved wall could be utilized.

To me, the question is would the fiberglass hold up to the vibration and flexing of the van’s movement on the road?

Most likely, yes. Might be thicker fiberglass than an RV intended shower though, as long term durability trumps low weight in a house.

That said, my last 3 truck campers (slide in/cab over style) from the 70s & 80s all had fiberglass shower surrounds, and they held up just fine while the rest of the stapled together balsa wood around them rotted away.
