Default Electric Sofa Bed - PARTS NEEDED - 2011 RoadTrek 210P

GREETINGS!

We recently bought this Roadtrek 210 Class B and we love it!

ONE PROBLEM:
As soon as we took ownership, the "electric" Sofa Bed quit working.
Normally it slides up and down at the touch of a switch.

Now its a real pain to try and get underneath to the Inverter & extra Storage.
Add to that my back says we ain't getting any younger!

INVESTIGATION REVEALED:
The little gears in the little differential at the end of the Screw Jacks are stripped. They appear to be plastic or nylon gears (hard to see inside).

SEE ATTACHED PICTURE:
Inside the red circles are the little differentials (2). These contain the little gears (One for each side of the sofa bed). Located at the end of the screw-jacks and the cables.

I found a new "complete" replacement set (with more parts than I need) but it was $500.00!! - Not sure I want to pay that much or if I can even afford it right now.

QUESTION:
Does anyone know:
1. Can one get/buy NEW parts for these (the differentials or plastic gears)?
2. Does anyone know if one can buy these parts USED somewhere?
3. Any other solutions ??

Any ideas, tips or leads are great-fully accepted!

Thanks in advance!!

Jim

Can you change the current motor with two flex dives to two linear actuators? https://www.amazon.com/s?k=linear+ac...f=nb_sb_noss_2

We have the complete power sofa from our 07 C190P which probably has all the same pieces as yours. It has hardly been used at all so in very good shape and stored inside our home since removed.

It is free if you can figure out how to come and get it. Too much hassle to ship unless it is a picked/pack/ship company, I think.

We are in the Minneapolis area.

Dear "booster"

Howdy!
I agree - It's a long, long drive to your area from ours (we are near Calgary).
If you were able & willing to ship the cables, differentials and screw jacks I can send photo of same) I would gladly pay you for shipping!
USPS would be easiest for you I believe. Let me know your thoughts!
Thank you again!!!

That would also require disassembling it to get the parts and disposal of the left over stuff, and I really want to get away from that. Probably will pass on that, but I truly understand the long trip issues.

Hi Jim;
I have a Power recline Sofa in my 2001 Leisure travel van. The operating system appears to be identical to yours. Only one of two sides is operating, but it functions fine. However, I did track down a parts supplier that carries the parts required. I have not contacted them but will. Here is the contact that should lead you to them:

Default Result?

Jim, how did you do on V-Sales and the replacement part.
My call to them and subsequent research is not encouraging.
Thank you, Terry

Hi Sandy:
I see you are in Victoria, we are going to the Island in Sept. Did you ever talk to "V Sales" to see if they would sell parts to you? I see on their website that they want private individuals to go through a "Body Shop" as they aren't a retail business. Just wondering if you had any luck with them?
Thanks, Jim
