Default Generator Problem

My Onan 2.8 in my 1995 B won't start. It has spark but no fuel coming out of the fuel filter. Has plenty of gas getting to the Generator. I haven't checked the fuel filter yet because I don't have a replacement and hard to get to.
My first question is does it have a fuel pump on it?
Second one is do I have to drop it down to change the fuel filter?
The line is short so I am not sure I can get a new one in there.

An Electric fuel pump is listed as a Standard Feature on the Specifications Sheet for the Microlite 2800.

Marco, you realize that's not what I wanted to hear. I had it all thought out on how to fix it with gravity feed. It looks like I will have to drop it now for sure unless I take it in.
Thanks for the info.

One person on the RT Yahoo Group posted that you can change the fuel pump without dropping the generator but you have to be able to get the generator cover off.

Another posted he used a pallet jack to drop the generator.

Just a thought, did you check the oil level? The low oil shut-off would prevent it from starting. (I know you're pretty sure it's a fuel problem).

This guy (I think his name is Chris) replaced the carb without removing the generator:
