PHASE -1 Upgrade
These are pics of my first steps in upgrading my 2008 Chevy Roadtrek 170 Popular.
10 OLD AND NEW IN POSITION
11 NOTCHED BRACKET TO POSITION AND SUPPORT WHILE MOUNTING
All new dashboard switches installed, and operational
start battery monitor
eBay purchase
One worked very well onboard for 5 years, so good experience.
side post extenders Useful for adding "extra" connections to battery post - like a lead for a shunt.
room temp test Ops tested the difference between a "pill sensor" and a Balmar Lug sensor. Balmar is a 30 foot lead too.
The Blue Sea ML-ACR installed in same location as the RT Isolator
BASEMENT LITHIUMS
Used CAD to sort out placement and work to add "lightness"
04 BackSide of Toggle power switches
This switch powers the 2 battery monitors. The "T" fitting is unique and lets you add connections...
03 BLUE SEA ACR Cockpit Switch installed
Ops check on our first outing. Then dug into the dash to add more instrumentation and control.
02 BLUE SEA ACR Cockpit Switch
Assembly is never pretty...
000 DASH ONLY WIRES UPGRADED
A diagram review of what was the plan and what is now installed.  More to come {Sorry Johnny Carson...}
000 Yellow wire and Hehr. Portion of graphic posted here on the forum. Thanks!
