Thought I'd attach a few photos from our trip to PEI last month. Weather was great. We stayed at two Provincial Parks and the National Park. If I go back I'll stick with the Provincial Parks. The National Park facilities at Cavendish were kind of rundown. The scenery is really nice. Diesel was only 2 cents/L more than gas and it cheaper than NB so that was good. Lots of potato fields. Had a lobster roll (better in NB
) Tried Seaweed Pie. Went swimming at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park and the water was warm. The whole place was tidy and lots of greenery. The Confederation Bridge toll was $42 I think. City of Summerside looked particularly nice. I'd go back and visit again.
Garmin GPS wasn't that good on PEI. It would put you on those unpaved red roads pretty quickly. Just grab a map at an info center and take the scenic routes.
